Summary:
Under the direction of the Administrator, the Director of Marketing/Admissions markets facility services in the immediate and surrounding referral communities for the purpose of census development and public relations.
They are responsible for coordinating all admissions and transfers to the facility and works closely with the nursing staff and social services relating to psych/service needs of prospective residents.
The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.
Job Duties & Responsibilities Demonstrates responsibility for verbal or written inquiries for information regarding resident application.
Ensures appropriate personnel sends information regarding facility services to inquiries Opens and reviews mail on a daily basis.
Processes inquiries in registry book for placement on waiting list.
Files applications and referrals according to source of referral Thoroughly reviews and processes application at time of consideration for placement Presents processed application to the Admissions Committee for approval and records minutes of the meeting Processes admission bulletin for all appropriate departments prior to resident placement.
Distributes appropriate information to nursing station, Business Office and Social Services department Processes Dietary History with responsible party, as needed, and returns to the Dietary Department for processing Demonstrates responsibility for transfers Assists in annual budget preparation for the Marketing/Admissions Department, as appropriate Makes regular marketing contacts with referral sources in person, in writing and via telephone EDUCATION/
Experience:
