Painter Commercial/Residential

Description

Tradesmen International is seeking experienced Commercial/Residential Painters to join our team.

Requirements

As a Commercial/Residential Painter you will apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings, and other structures.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Filling nail holes, cracks, and joints with putty plaster
  • Smoothing surfaces, using sandpaper, brushes, or steel wool
  • Removing old paint from surfaces using paint remover, scraper, wire brush, or blowtorch to prepare surfaces for painting
  • Painting surfaces using brushes, spray gun, or paint rollers
  • Simulating wood grain, marble, brick, tile or other special effects with cloth, brush, or sponge
  • Erecting scaffolding or setting up ladders safely to perform tasks above ground level

Additional requirements:

  • Commercial painting experience ( Journeyman skill level )
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
